All written content and photographs on this site are © Robin Leonard, all rights reserved, unless explicitly noted otherwise. You’re welcome to quote a few hundred words with attribution and a link back, and you’re welcome to embed a single photograph on a non-commercial blog post that links here. Larger uses, syndication, and any commercial use require permission — email me. The answer is often yes.

Affiliate links and gear honesty.

Some posts contain affiliate links, sponsored content, brand placement (including on the bike and on camera), promotional or discount codes, and gear provided for long-term testing. When they do, that fact is labelled in the same paragraph as the recommendation, at the same weight. I keep creative control of the edit — briefs are welcome; scripts written by a brand are not. If a product does not earn the recommendation, that becomes the review. I only take on products I would use whether I were paid or not.

Riding advice.

Anything I write about routes, gear, or technique is the experience of one rider on one bike, told honestly. It is not professional instruction. If you’re new to adventure riding, take a course. The country is rough; the consequences are real.

Liability.

The site is provided as is. I make no representations or warranties about the accuracy of any specific information beyond doing my best to be honest about what I’ve seen and used. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I’m not liable for any decisions you make off the back of reading this site.

Jurisdiction.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any disputes you can’t solve by writing me an email go to a New Zealand court.
